We lost this incredible mare this winter (2010), just 2 months before she was to deliver her 2011 baby. It was a huge loss for our program and left us with a broken heart. Suzy was a fabulous momma and a kind and gentle spirit.

We lost our Thelma in 2008 to an apparent colic episode. She was the sweetest mare in the barn and one that was safe for all levels of riders. She was a super producer, with her babies really excelling out in the show arena. She will be greatly missed.

Devine was humanely laid to rest following complications that arose from her last pregnancy. She was an excellent producer and a sweet mare. She will be missed.

 Clipse retired to my brother's farm in Eddy, Texas, where she roamed on 40 acres for the rest of her days. She was a great mare and gave us many excellent babies.

This mare is a farm favorite, especially my momma's! Classy was shown very successfully for many years as my daughter was growing up in every class imaginable. She was a World qualifier in Hunter Over Fences events and was twice the Junior Horse High Point Champion at our local open show series. Classy has had several babies including

  • A Splash of Class (1997 colt) by Cooties Eclipse and owned by Melanie Hnott. Melanie has this big guy showing well in Dressage!
  • All Hands Splash (1998 filly) by All Hands On Zip; owned and loved by me. She is an exciting new member of our broodmare band for 2004!!
  • Thyme On His Hands (2000colt) by All Hands on Zip and owned by Barb Prisuta of Colorado, is a tall, beautiful colt who is winning in Hunter In Hand.
  • Invite Me With A Rose (2003 filly) by Invitation From Misty is a big beautiful dark bay filly with tons of potential for huntseat -- she's a nice one!
  • Major Minuet (2004 chestnut filly) by A Major Leaguer (AQHA -- this is a big girl!!
  • Gabardine (2006 chestnut and white filly) by All Hands On Zip -- beautiful dark filly with a punk rock hairdo!

Will we ever have another mare that produced the way this one did?  We miss the way she always entertained us by carrying her 15 pound feed pan around at feeding time.  However, we won't miss all the holes she kicked in the walls with that powerful one footed kick of hers! 
She was a great producer and mom.

Sugar is a granddaughter of the great race horse and sire Three Chicks (AQHA) and of ApHC Hall of Fame mare WeGo Melody.

This is a pretty moving little mare and she hit a home run with her first colt, Major League Slugger (1999 colt), by A Major Leaguer (AQHA). He is shown by her side. Slugger was trained and owned by Bruce Army and should make his show debut this year in 2 year old Western Pleasure classes. We can't wait!!!

Our little race horse, Fandango, arrived in April 2002 -- by Cresting Water (JC) -- this filly has color, size and talent!

'Carmella' is a real eye-catcher! And she passes that good color on to her babies as well. Her sire was shown successfully in halter, including wins in a number of prestigious futurities. He went on to be a point earner in Hunter Under Saddle and Western Pleasure. His bloodlines include Bright Eyes Brother.

Congratulations to D'Ann Loop and her family on the purchase of Carmella! D'Ann plans to use Carmella in her therapeutic and educational riding program -- lots of hugs and carrots in store for our carmel colored beauty!
