His sire, Lonestar Lad, is currently ranked in the Top Ten Leading the Nation in Hunter In Hand Stallions. He has excellent size (15-2 hands), disposition and athletic ability. Look for Lad this year at the 2002 ApHC World Championship Show.

This colt's dam, Strawscootin Suzy, is a 16+ hand ApHC mare. She is a granddaughter of the great Roman Strawman and Scooter Bug G. She is a big, beautiful moving mare, with a long stride and slow legs. She has produced one other colt who showed successfully in Hunter In Hand, earning a 7th at World in Yearling Hunter In Hand.

We look for Bugs to be 16 hands and solidly built. He should have the atheletic ability and talent to be a super all-around horse, and with his quiet disposition he should be suitable for the novice or youth rider. He also has the build that would make him a good roping and cattle prospect as well.

Bugs has been started under saddle and is coming along very nicely. He will have a nice headset and has the ability to slow and extend his trot for either Hunter Under Saddle or Western events.

Should be eligible for advancement to regular papers, otherwise is eligible for the CPO program.
