I purchased this horse for me to rise and show in Masters level events since my daughter had confiscated my little gelding so she could do jumping classes. She has since given up jumping and now I have TWO geldings, neither of which I can find enough time to ride. So Eddie is reluctantly offered for your consideration.

Eddie
is a big black beautiful gelding with an easy disposition
suitable for Non-Pro or Youth competitors who are looking for a
talented eye-catching show horse. He has a trot and a jog
as well as a slow legged canter. He is not finished
but is very close -- we are working on our canter departure but
that is coming along nicely. He is very brave and will be
a good trail prospect as well.|
Eddie's bloodlines are impeccable. His mother, WishIWasAZippo, has a show record with points in both Hunter Under Saddle and Western Pleasure. WishIWasAZippo is by the great Sun Down Q who has over 140 points in Western Pleasure and ROMs in Heading/Heeling, Hunter Under Saddle and Reining.. Eddie's sire is All Hands On Zip, multiple World Champion and sire of numerous World /National Champions in Open, Non-Pro & Youth events. We would definitely be keeping this guy if we did not already have another gelding that suits my purposes for competing in Masters level competition. Eddie definitely should get out there and be shown -- he will be a great one in the all-around. |

Eddie was not started until he was a 3 year old so there was less risk of any damage done to growing bones. He has been started and had 30 days of riding by Terry Thompson Inc and is going very well under saddle for us here on the farm.. This gelding is a National/World caliber HUS and WP pleasure events in Non-Pro and Youth classes. Especially with his good mind and tons of try -- he will always be working to do what you want him to do.
