"Ivy" finally arrived and what a cutie! A long thin neck, matched by his long straight legs, promise an elegant and accomplished performer in years to come. Excellent muscling and good bone provide a very balanced baby.

The only thing that we would have asked for different would have been some color! This colt has the breeding and conformation to make an outstanding show prospect. We will keep our fingers crossed for him to spot out -- after all his momma used to be his color!

Ivy's sire is A Major Leaguer (AQHA), a highly successful stallion in a number of events. He is also starting to make a name for himself with the babies he is producing.

Ivy's dam, Zippa Clipse, is an own daughter of All Hands On Zip, multiple World Champion and World Champion Sire. She is also a very successful show horse with an ROM in Junior Hunter Saddle and nearing an ROM in Hunter In Hand. She will resume her show career once Ivy is weaned.

Zippa Clipse is a full sister to two other mares who are also successfully competing in Hunter Under Saddle and Western Pleasure events -- Hands Off Gingersnap and Zippo Dixie Darlin', and a baby brother, Zip N Tango, who has a bright future ahead of him in Bascara, Spain!

We hope this magnificent colt will follow his momma's lead when it comes to spotting out -- she spotted out completely as a yearling!
