Congratulations to Ed and Linda Ernst of Colorado Springs on their purchase of this super colt! Watch for Chip, in training with Joann Garland, in 2 Year Old Hunter Under Saddle classes during the 2003 show season!

Here is an example of the fine work that JoAnn's daughter, Samantha, has done with this elegant colt. They have shown in a few shows throughout the Colorado area, and they are racking up the 'blues' in Longe Line and Hunter In Hand! The pair entered the Rocky Mountain Longe Line Futurity and took home the money, trophy and bragging rights for first place!

He has had 10 rides put on him so far in early December and is going great -- really easy to start and should be ready for the show ring in 60 days. Easy for anyone to ride and handle!

Already a proven winner!

His sire, The Misty Chip, just recently made his show debut and is the 2001 National Champion in Hertiage. He was not shown earlier due to an injury suffered as a 2 year old. Look for him to continue his show career in 2002! The Misty Chip is by the great stallion The Miracle Chip, Western Pleasure horse deluxe, and only horse to win both National and World Champion in Junior Western Pleasure in the same year.

This colt's dam is the bay AQHA mare shown and is by, He Rocket -- last Supreme Champion awarded by the AQHA. He Rocket is a Three Bars grandson. Her bloodlines also include Joe Reed and Joe Reed II. His dam is a big, heavily muscled mare at 15-2HH and 1250lbs, and throws athletic, clean loping babies.
