Sammy surprised us again! This colt is absolutely stunning. Satin is bred to pleasure, with All Hands On Zip as his sire, and Samantha Marshall (by A Mighty Marshall) as his dam.
Sammy is a fabulous producer, as evidenced by her six All Hands On Zip babies:
- Jewel placed Top Ten at 2002 and 2005 World in Hunter In Hand with her owner Kathy Walton; also Top Ten at the 2006 Youth World!
- Dylan is the 2004 WORLD CHAMPION in 2 Year Old Hunter Under Saddle
- Cupid is the 2006 Reserve National ApPHA Champion in 3 Year Old Western Pleasure. He will be competing at the 2006 World Show in both 3 Year Old Hunter Under Saddle and 3 Year Old Western Pleasure!!!
- Dek is being started under saddle on the farm -- already 16 hands at 2 years old!!
- Sangria is owned by Terry Thompson and has a very bright future ahead of her
All Hands On Zip is a 5 Time World Champion and World and National Champion sire. Sammy is a show horse in her own right with points and high placings at World in Hunter Under Saddle classes.
I anticipate that Satin will mature at 16+ hands and be a top performance prospect. At this point it looks like he will excel in Western Pleasure, but will definitely have the length of stride necessary to do HUS. He will turn heads and get the judges to look hard!
This is one to consider for a stallion prospect for those who are so inclined.
